Over the past few days, I have been gradually posting images of my adventures (with some dear friends) to Burning Man on flickr (also enclosed in this post). Pictures and words can not describe how amazing it was.

The image you see above here is a satellite image of the whole dam thing…. just look how amazingly organised it is.. we lived at 9.30 and Detroit. Work it out for your selves.. Lots of Rum, Vodka, Miso soup, beef jerky the Gourd and what not, were consumed.

Surreal, creative, fun, bloody mad, exhausting, inspiring –  are just a few one worders that only scrape the surface.

There was no animosity whatsoever and this was so much better than any English festival experience I could possibly imagine. No rubbish, carnage, mess, just a deep respect for the surroundings.

A huge 200 art installations where dotted around the Playa and mutant vehicles, bikes, dust storms, lots of  laughs etc..
I just want to thank the lovely people that joined me on this amazing adventure, they know who they are….

On the organisational front, I’ll be going again next year for sure. Get in touch if you need some hot tips etc.. I hope you enjoy my photos.

I’ll definitely be doing some sky diving over the Man next time.

So.. I go away for a few weeks and come back to so many new and exciting things… this is one of them.

Arcade Fires new album… this is an interactive film by Chris Milk .
It looks like the kids at Google have helped too which is very nice of them.
It features “We Used To Wait”,  it is built in HTML5 and you will need Chrome the browser to use it effectively.

This is fantastic and just the tip of the iceberg.

The demos below show how the latest version of Apple’s Safari web browser, new Macs, and new Apple mobile devices all support the capabilities of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Not all browsers offer this support. But soon other modern browsers will take advantage of these same web standards — and the amazing things they enable web designers to do.

All pretty impressive if you ask me.. lets see how  Adobe and Flash evolve their product. You’ll obviously need Safari 5 installed on your machine.

I’m a big fan of Sarah Illenberger, nearly got her in on a job I did for Google July 2009.
A great all round meticulous designer, maker, thinker with a great eye for detail, colour and humour.
