The WWF format is a PDF that cannot be printed out. It’s a simple way to avoid unnecessary printing. So here’s your chance to save trees and help the environment. Decide for yourself which documents don’t need printing out – then simply save them as WWF.

Gap annouced yesterday that after so much controversy ove the rebrand they are going to go back to the original brand. I don’t know what all the fuss was about in the first place.. pretty shit threads in the first place.

So here’s the new brand identity.. I must say I’m baffled.
I don’t understand the thinking behind the strategy of this..
Just imagine, especially in this climate, the total cost to replace everything… globally,
retail signage, all print, campaigns, everything etc…

It does look like the first attempt scamps of a branding project.
GAP or should we say Gap has gone down a strange path.

I really love the irony of this.
Big agencies not embracing the digital future and not giving any decent content outside of the “Flash” walled garden (we might be a little guilty I hasten to add).

The consequence is that we have  2 walled gardens.

Just came back from Paris Photo, so much fantastic stuff to see. I spent over 6 hours in the main area at the Louvre.. I reckon better than last years session.

Something I never thought I’d write…ouch.

RIP

What a day it must have been… a load of Tony Hart fans gathered at the Tate Modern last weekend, to pay tribute to the legendary children’s TV presenter and art enthusiast via the medium of Morph.

On Sunday, the large gathering of his fans constructed an army of the iconic terracotta modeling-clay character. Some wore bikinis, others wore Kanye West-style sunglasses and all of them were just a couple of inches high.

The group planned the tribute via social networking sites as a way of saying “thank you” to Hart for making art fun.

Chris Jordan gives us a snap shot of humanity through his uber-sized images. He translates unimaginable and hard to fathom statistics and makes them… well manageable and intelligible. He wants to develop a visual language that is to be experienced and felt.
