There is always one that slips through…
Whilst at Paris Photo in mid November, I saw Ryan McGibley’s work and was pretty un-impressed to say the least (I guess his agent wasn’t showing his best work). Ohhh …….. how wrong I was, uncovering one image has opened up a little honey pot of beautifully captured, natural, care free and liberating images. They normally depict naked people in colourfully lit caves or running and jumping around, there’s no self-consciousness, it just seems so natural.
